HELP FOR CHILDREN WITH DISABILITIES AT THE REHABILITATION CENTER IN THE DESNYANSKY DISTRICT OF KYIV
Dear Friends!
Our charitable organization, "Charity Foundation 'Unity of the Community'," has been approached by the rehabilitation center in the Desnyansky district of Kyiv, which has over a hundred severely ill children on its records, requesting assistance for children with disabilities, orphans, children from large families, and seriously ill children who have come from the ATO zone.
Most of these children are bedridden due to severe damage to the nervous system and musculoskeletal disorders. The center's staff provides free medical assistance to the children and rehabilitates them to improve their health condition.
Currently, the state only covers the salaries of the center's director and social workers, but everything related to the children's needs is not addressed.
For many years, the rehabilitation center has not received the necessary medical equipment for rehabilitating sick children. According to their needs list, they lack bactericidal lamps, disinfectants, medications, first-aid kits, household chemicals, and much more, all of which are essential for the rehabilitation process.
For any inquiries, please contact our coordinator and volunteer, Yulia, at +38 067 220 12 93.
We ask all caring individuals to help purchase everything necessary for the effective operation of the rehabilitation center and assist children with disabilities!
We will be grateful for any financial or material (personally purchased) assistance to children with disabilities!
Let us unite! Together, we are strong!
Dear Friends! We sincerely THANK YOU for your SUPPORT to SEVERELY ILL CHILDREN as part of the "Wave of Kindness" project!
Volunteers from the Charity Foundation "Unity of the Community" have visited the rehabilitation center for the second time, located at 10A Mayakovskogo Street, Kyiv.
Additionally, we took the opportunity to visit the social assistance department for low-income families with children with disabilities, large families, and internally displaced persons from the Luhansk and Donetsk regions, who also have children with disabilities or single-parent families (children left without a father or mother), located at 63A Balzaka Street, Kyiv.
The Desnyansky Rehabilitation Center and the social assistance department provide support in medical, psychological, and material aspects. They care for over 1,000 children with disabilities, orphans, children from low-income families, and children who have come from the ATO zone. In addition to helping children, they also assist displaced persons and elderly individuals living alone, totaling over 700 people.

Dear Benefactors!
Our charity organization, "Charity Foundation 'Unity of the Community'," has received a second request for help from the Desnyansky Rehabilitation Center in Kyiv, which cares for over a hundred severely ill children, including children with disabilities, orphans, children from large families, and those who have come from the ATO zone.
Most of these children are bedridden due to severe damage to the nervous system and musculoskeletal disorders. The center’s staff provides free medical assistance and rehabilitates the children to improve their health.
Currently, the state only covers the salaries of the center's director and social workers, leaving the needs of the children unaddressed.
Last time, the rehabilitation center reached out to us for assistance with everyday essentials (hygiene products and household chemicals) as well as medical equipment, medications, disinfectants, and other necessary items without which the rehabilitation process is impossible.
Today, the rehabilitation center urgently needs specialized medical equipment, sterilizers, a laptop for visually impaired children, everything for kinesitherapy, as well as an interactive whiteboard, pottery wheel, and developmental games. They also have ongoing needs for household goods and hygiene products.
For any inquiries, please contact Yulia, the coordinator and volunteer, at 067-220-12-93.
We kindly ask all concerned individuals to help in acquiring everything necessary for the effective operation of the rehabilitation center and to assist the children with disabilities.
We would greatly appreciate any financial support for the children with disabilities!
